By booking a time slot at one of Spots Meadow dog walking fields, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions applicable for every Spots Meadow location, the privacy policy and the Local Rules specific to the dog field you are using (found on the specific meadow’s page).

 

Terms relevant to all dog-walking fields 

 

Binding of Terms

 

This website is owned and operated by Spots Meadow. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions, privacy policy and local rules under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors the ability to hire a dog walking field for 55 minutes in an enclosed field. By accessing or using the website or any of our services, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, the privacy policy and the local rules for the dog walking field you are using.

 

Spots Meadow is a website which allows you to book dog walking fields near you and owns some dog walking fields itself. Spots Meadow also facilitates other dog-walking fields owned by others. Spots Meadow takes no responsibility for the management of the site’s of any dog walking field not owned by itself, it only manages the online presence and booking systems. You should view the Local Rules to find out who owns the dog field and the additional terms and conditions which should be followed. 

 

General

 

  • Slots are available every 55 minutes for booking, leaving a 5-minute change over time between users. You must leave the facilities five minutes before the hour and arrive no sooner than five minutes before the hour of your slot. Anyone remaining within the field over their allocated time slot will be charged for the extra slot usage.

  • Within the car parking facilities, your dog(s) must be kept on a lead at all times until you enter and secure the gate for the main field area (bounded by a 5-6ft high fence). 

  • Please wait until the previous user has exited the field before entering yourself in line with the change over time mentioned above.

  • Please be considerate and respectful of any neighbours to avoid adversely affecting them.

  • Some fields have limits on the number of dogs you can bring, vehicles and people- you must read the local rules for the specific field you are using and be aware of these conditions. 

  • You agree to not let anyone other than friends and family members who are in your party use the facilities. When bringing others (children, adults etc) or having someone go in your place, you ensure that they abide by the Terms and Conditions laid out here and the Local Rules specific to the dog walking field you are using. You are responsible for their safety whilst using the meadow.

 

Responsibility of user(s)

 

  • No responsibility is held for any users, dog(s) or personal possessions during the hire of any Spots Meadow facility by Spots Meadow or the owner of the dog field you are using. Using any Spots Meadow facility (including but not limited to parking areas, fields, entrances, and obstacles) is at the user’s own risk.

  • Vehicles are left at the owner’s risk in the car park, with Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field you are using holding no responsibility for accidents, damages or negative consequences whilst in the car park. Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field you are using hold no responsibility for any loss, theft, damages or accidents incurred to individuals, animals and personal property incurred on the Spots Meadow sites.

  • The booking of our sites creates no right of occupation over the land- the owner of the dog field you are using retain full control at all times.

 

The Meadows

 

  • Entry: You can use the gate code sent to you when booking to enter the main dog walking field- the entrance gates should be securely shut after you before letting any dog(s) off the lead when entering the field. 

  • Exit: You must have your dog(s) on a lead before exiting the main meadow area. Please securely shut the entrance gates after you, scramble any gate entry codes. 

  • It’s your responsibility to make sure all gates are securely shut before letting any dog(s) off the lead.

  • Fencing: The fence is inspected weekly to locate any issues and solve them. Damage may occur occasionally for reasons such as digging by dogs/ other animals, general wear, falling branches, falling trees, windy conditions etc. Please inform us immediately of any issues so we can fix them as soon as possible. Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field you are using take no responsibility for any dog(s) escaping the field whether or not it’s a result of fencing issues (defects, holes etc) and regardless of notification in advance by other users or yourselves.

  • Weather Conditions: If you know of adverse weather such as snow, gales, hot weather, thunderstorms etc, please use our rescheduling tools available in your account. You must not use the facilities in these extreme weather events and it’s your responsibility to reschedule the appointment and avoid using the facilities in these events. The dog walking fields can become muddy and there is uneven ground so make sure to bring appropriate footwear. Make sure to bring appropriate clothing in line with the weather conditions you are attending in. 

  • Uneven Ground: The dog walking fields have uneven ground, often covered by long grass, which you should be aware of whilst using the facilities. Animals may create holes, mounds etc so be aware of your surroundings and footing. Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field you are using hold no responsibility for any injury to you, your family or friends or your dog(s) whilst using the field and other facilities.

  • Other Hazards: Consistent with the countryside, there are other hazards which you should be aware of: overhanging tree branches which may fall or have fallen, vegetation, animal scrapings etc. Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field you are using take no responsibility for any injuries incurred to you, your friends and family or your dog(s) as a result of these hazards.

  • Children: Children must be supervised at all times. You are responsible for making sure they are safe whilst using the facilities. You are responsible for their safety, preventing injuries to them and making sure they follow the Terms and Conditions and Local Rules set out on this website. The dog fields are not designed for children and haven’t been made child safe- certain hazards and obstacles may pose a large risk to children.

  • Climbing: You, your friends and family and your dog(s) should not climb any trees, fences and gates.

  • Damage incurred: Any breakages or damages incurred during your visit will be paid for by the user (such as broken obstacles or fencing)

  • Obstacles: Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field you are using do not accept any responsibility for injuries, accidents, or damages incurred to users, dog(s) or personal belonging from the use of the dog agility equipment. You are using the equipment at your own risk. The agility equipment is built for dogs only- so individuals must not use it. 

  • Dog Waste: Please don’t leave any litter in the facilities- please take it home and dispose of it correctly. It is your responsibility to pick up all dog waste and use the dog waste bins provided to dispose of it appropriately. We prove dog waste bags to assist you in cleaning up the dog waste.

  • Shelter: Please be aware the shelter (as well as the rest of the meadow, car park, gates etc) can get very slippery so wear appropriate footwear and be cautious. 

  • Dog Health: Users must ensure all dogs are wormed and fully up to date with appropriate vaccinations. If your dog(s) are showing signs of bad health, please don’t attend the field to prevent illness from spreading.

  • Complaints Procedures: Please read the Local Rules for the location you are using to read the complaints procedures. 

 

Who can book and create an account?

 

In order to use our website and/or receive our services, you must be at least 18 years of age, or of the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, and possess the legal authority, right and freedom to enter into these Terms as a binding agreement. You are not allowed to use this website and/or receive services if doing so is prohibited in your country or under any law or regulation applicable to you.

 

Commercial terms offered.

 

When booking a service, you agree that: (I) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to buy it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the booking when you commit to buy the booking and you complete the check-out payment process.

 

The prices we charge for using our services are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for services displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payments page.

 

Rescheduling Policy

 

Payments are made via the Wix payment platform at the point of booking via a card payment or apple pay.

You can reschedule your booking up to 48 hours before your time slot, unfortunately you cannot be refunded. 

If you are unable to attend due to extreme weather (snow, gales, very hot etc), then please reschedule using the bookings page found in your account.

 

Right to change offering

 

We may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason.

 

Right to suspend or cancel user accounts.

 

We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend your access to the service without notice and liability for any reason, including if in our sole determination, you violate any provision of these Terms or any applicable law or regulations. You may discontinue use and request to cancel your account and/or any services at any time. Upon suspension or cancellation of your account, you will not be able to book any services that we offer at any of our locations.

 

Indemnification

 

You agree to indemnify and hold Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field you are using harmless from any loss, liability, claims or expenses (including attorneys’ fees), made against them by any third party due to, or arising out of, or in connection with your use of the website or any of the services offered on the website.

 

Limitation of liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field you are using be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the service.

 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field you are using assume no liability or responsibility for any (I) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies of content; (ii) personal injury, dog-related injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from your access to or use of our service; and (iii) any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information stored therein.

 

Right to change and modify terms.

 

We reserve the right to modify these terms, the privacy policy and the Local Rules from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these pages and the local rules periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms, Privacy Policy and the relevant Local Rules. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.

 

Promotional emails and content

 

You agree to receive from time-to-time promotional messages and materials from us, by mail, email or any other contact form you may provide us with (including your phone number for calls or text messages). If you don't want to receive such promotional materials or notices – please just notify us at any time. You can visit our privacy policy linked at the top of this document.

 

Preference for law and dispute resolution

 

These Terms, the rights and remedies provided hereunder, and any and all claims and disputes related hereto and/or to the services, shall be governed by, construed under and enforced in all respects solely and exclusively in accordance with the internal substantive laws of the United Kingdom without respect to its conflict of laws principles. Any and all such claims and disputes shall be brought in, and you hereby consent to them being decided exclusively by a court of competent jurisdiction located in Ipswich. The application of the United Nations Convention of Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is hereby expressly excluded.

 

Useful Definitions

 

Main meadow/ dog walking field- the area of land you exercise your dog in normally bounded by a 5-6 ft high fence. It doesn’t include the car park area or entrance.
